About Our Company
Who We Are
Founded in 2019, we are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization headquartered in the city of Philadelphia. We are strongly committed to improving the lives and securing the rights of LGBTQ youth and adults.
We launched The Dollhouse Project to highlight the injustice faced by trans women of color and the LGBTQ population while providing support and guidance through various services to those in the transition process to discovering or embracing their unique identities without fear and with confidence. Unfortunately, most often, sex work is one of the main sources of survival among transgender women. They are often brutally attacked and murdered, which we want to stop.
At The Dollhouse Project, we welcome all trans women of color and youth to benefit from the support system created exclusively for the LGBTQ community so that they don’t have to face hardships or discrimination alone.

What We Do
We provide a free judgment zone for everyone. Hence, you can be whoever you want to be—confident in your skin and your identity, without being judged. At The Dollhouse Project, we give you a platform to embrace your identity, express your goals and dreams and, more importantly, support that you need to get closer to and achieve your goals with independence and stability.
The Dollhouse Project is vocal about the rights of LGBTQ youth and adults while taking a stand to end poverty, injustice, homelessness, and inequality among the transgender population. And we welcome you to join us in this fight to transform the lives of those who have been and still are susceptible to socioeconomic disadvantages.
About Our Company
How We Do It
To deliver what we promise and aspire for, we work relentlessly to create a life of possibilities for the LGBTQ community. At The Dollhouse Project, we offer a wide range of support services to transgender individuals so that they never feel left out or yearn to express themselves.
From shelter housing, job training and placement assistance to mental health counseling, mentoring and life skills classes, we empower trans women of color and LGBTQ youth. We ensure that they have the skills, education, and support needed to excel, thrive, and achieve goals without holding back and independence.
However, as we are a nonprofit and this project is a huge challenge, we require ongoing funds and capital to perform the legwork and ensure service continuity. And we seek this support from people who share our vision such as yourself. So we welcome you to embark with us on the journey to end injustice and homelessness by promoting the well-being of LGBTQ individuals.
Injustice and inequality have detrimentally affected the daily lives of the LGBTQ community. LGBTQ people of color living at the intersection of identities particularly experience multiple forms of systemic and institutional discrimination.
But together, we can bring a positive change and reinvigorate hope, courage, and strength in trans individuals to enjoy and experience the good things in life. Our services are open for all trans women of color and all disadvantaged LGBTQ youths.
