At The Dollhouse Project, we believe that existing disparities and inequalities between LGBTQ and non-LGBTQ youth in employment, health, justice, housing, and education have detrimentally affected the LGBTQ youth and trans women of color’s daily lives. Additionally, it has led to multiple forms of institutional and systemic discrimination, resulting in high unemployment and homelessness. ”

Changing Hearts and Minds to Promote Inclusion

We believe that hearts and mindsets need to change. It is everyone’s right to improve their quality of life. However, it is only possible that the LGBTQ youth get equal rights and employment and growth opportunities without being discriminated against based on sexual orientation and/or gender identity.

Hence, to make this change, we extend quality support and a full suite of services to trans women of color and all LGBTQ youths.

Equipping LGBTQ Community With Knowledge and Skills – The Perfect Combo for Success in Life

Our goal is to equip trans women of color and LGBTQ youth with the knowledge and skill-set that they need to come across as equally competent, talented, and deserving candidates for the positions they apply for. We want to teach and train them to seize the best educational, growth, and employment opportunities that can help them excel and improve their quality of life with independence and stability.
